Netflix’s $200-Million The Gray Man, From Avengers: Endgame Directors, Begins Production
The Russo brothers who gave the world “Avengers: Endgame” do not sit idle. As soon as Apple + released their crime drama “Downhill” with Tom Holland, they immediately began filming for another streaming giant – an order of magnitude larger and more expensive. Suffice it to say that Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling and Ana de Armas star in the Bourne-esque spy thriller The Gray Man.
The directors themselves announced the start of filming in their social networks:
The protagonist of the action is a former CIA agent Court Gentry (Gosling), who is now working as an assassin. Evans will play the former colleague of the hero Lloyd Hansen, who now has to catch him.
The cast of the film also includes Jessica Henwick, Billy Bob Thornton, Alfrey Woodard and Rege-Jean Page. A whole group of Marvel natives, led by Joe Russo, are responsible for the script: Christopher Marcus, Stephen McFeely, Anna Watrehouse and Joe Shrapnel.
All this will definitely become a franchise and will challenge not only Bourne, but also Bond.
