Synopsis

“The Joker” is one of the key films of 2019, the backstory of the comic book villain, which eventually became just a great drama, which went very far from the fantastic component.
At the center of the story is the loser Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), suffering from a mental illness and working as a clown. He lives with an unbalanced mother (Frances Conroy) and dreams of a career as a stand-up comedian. The difficult life in Gotham City and the lack of recognition of Arthur only exacerbate his condition and leads to terrifying consequences.
