Synopsis
This intense drama takes place in a migrant camp in the Australian desert. Several storylines bring the heroes here. One of them is Ameer from Afghanistan, who fled from his war-torn homeland but was separated from his family on the way to Australia. Sofie got into a personal growth cult and, to avoid persecution, she pretends to be German. And Clare was at the epicenter of a media scandal and came to the camp to clear her name.

– Amazing Australian actress Cate Blanchett did not only play a role in the TV-series. The series Stateless itself was born out of a kitchen conversation between Cate and her friend, writer Elise McCredie. Together, the women became the showrunners of a series based on real-life events. By the way, Blanchett is the UN Ambassador for Refugees.
– By the way, Stateless is the second series this year where Cate Blanchett takes part – she very rarely appears on television.
