Synopsis

This intense drama takes place in a migrant camp in the Australian desert. Several storylines bring the heroes here. One of them is Ameer from Afghanistan, who fled from his war-torn homeland but was separated from his family on the way to Australia. Sofie got into a personal growth cult and, to avoid persecution, she pretends to be German. And Clare was at the epicenter of a media scandal and came to the camp to clear her name.

The series Stateless itself was born out of a kitchen conversation between Cate and her friend, writer Elise McCredie.
