A new show of the legendary Muppet Show franchise is here!

The Muppets Now series does not stray far from the canons and is a mix of a comedy and talk show. And, as always, there will be many guest stars! We will meet Seth Rogen, Aubrey Plaza, Linda Cardellini, Danny Trejo, RuPaul, and lots of other famous people. And don’t forget about old acquaintances, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, and many others.

  • In 1989, Peter Jackson, a little-known director then, released a puppet comedy Meet the Feebles, The Muppets Show parody. The movie mocked the genre clichés. In the center of the narrative is a loving hippo Heidi, who takes revenge on her walrus lover Bletch.
  • At the moment, the Muppets franchise includes eleven TV-series, eight feature films, as well as countless TV-productions and dozens of its puppets’ appearances on other TV-shows.
  • In 2004, Disney bought the rights for The Muppets Show characters for $75 million and since then has released two movies and several TV-series. Muppets Now was filmed for the new Disney+ platform that was launched on November 12, 2019. That day, the streaming service became available in the USA, Canada, and the Netherlands. By the end of this year, Disney+ will be available in most of Europe.
