Synopsis

Electricity has run out all over the planet 15 years ago. And this was not a simple power outage – at one point, all electrical appliances became completely useless. For a decade and a half, the world turned into a bloodthirsty arena for survival, and the United States disintegrated into numerous small counties.

While civilization continues to move towards death, no one knows what caused the disappearance of electricity. However, from the very beginning of this story, there is an understanding that there is someone who was involved in what happened and who knew in advance about the planetary blackout.

Interesting Facts

• The pilot episode of the TV show was aired on September 17, 2012 on the American channel NBC. The TV series was renewed for a second season which is the final.
• Powerful TV personalities worked on the TV series – Eric Kripke (“Supernatural”, “The Boys”) served as showrunner, JJ Abrams (“Lost”, “Castle Rock”, “Fringe”) served as executive producer, and Jon Favreau (responsible for “The Mandalorian” TV series, as well as many of the MCU movies) directed the pilot.
• Despite the fact that the creators of the TV show are such eminent persons, “Revolution” was canceled after the second season. The “Revolution: End Game” digital comic strip answering the questions left after watching the original TV series was released a year after the final of the “Revolution” TV show.
