Synopsis

John Nolan (Nathan Fillion), a former construction company owner who went through a difficult divorce, decided to change his life radically. After selling his business, he moved to Los Angeles and entered the police academy.

Upon graduation, John Nolan becomes the oldest recruit in the Los Angeles Police Department. His difficult life becomes even more complicated, but Nolan does not lose heart – he intends to firmly adhere to the chosen path. His work in the police department is not only dangerous, but also exciting – here Nolan finds new friends who help each other cope with the hardships of life.

  • The Rookie TV Series Season 2 was released on September 29, 2019. Aired weekly through early spring and May 2020, the series has been renewed for a third season.
  • This story about a middle-aged recruit in the LAPD is a true story. Having started his police career at 37 and is still an officer, Bill Norcross is one of the TV show’s executive producers.
