Synopsis
World War II veteran Calvin Barr lives in a small town with his beloved dog. But nobody knows that in 1945 he killed Hitler. The operation to eliminate the Fuhrer was classified. To his neighbors, Barr is just an old man who loves to fish. One day, FBI agents appear at the door of Kelvin’s house. They tell Barr a new terrible secret: the world is on the verge of a monstrous epidemic. The problem is caused by the Bigfoot hiding in the North American forests. Among other things, Barr is one of the very few people who is immune to infection. Therefore, the veteran goes in search of Bigfoot.

- The film was presented to the public on July 20, 2018 at the Fantasia Film Festival in Toronto, Canada. Only in 2019 did the film make it to wide distribution, its premiere in the United States took place on February 8, 2019. The digital release of the film took place on September 3, 2019.
- Douglas Trumbull, a Hollywood legend who was nominated for three Academy Awards for special effects for such iconic films as Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Blade Runner, had a hand in the creation of the film. Trumbull produced The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot and worked on visual effects.
