The Hunt

Synopsis

Twelve strangers wake up in a clearing and have no idea how they got there. After a while, they found out that they are the game meat for elite hunters. Innocent people have been harassed in the surroundings, and there was nothing else to do but to run as quickly and far as possible. Maybe some of such people does not want to fill like a deer and will be able to get over it and stand up to the killers?

This is a blood-drenched history that is much more than just a brutal thriller.

• This film is based on The Most Dangerous Game, a short story by Richard Connell that was filmed many times and well-known as “the most famous short story in English”. By the way, Most Dangerous Game series with Christoph Waltz debuted on Quibi this year. The series was filmed on the basis of the same short story.
• An actress Betty Gilpin who played the lead role in The Hunt will appear in the final season of GLOW, a good dramedy series, on Netfix platform this year.
• Initially, The Hunt should be released on September 27, 2019, but the film release was indefinitely postponed due to the mass shootings in Ohio and Texas. Finally, The Hunt should be released on March 13, 2020, but the film premiered on the Internet in many countries due to the coronavirus epidemic.
