Synopsis

A very simple girl at first glance, Aisha (Helena Howard) begins to suspect that something is wrong with her. The most fantastic guess stands the test, and Aisha realizes that she is an android, not a human. However, how and why was she born? The mechanical girl wants to find answers to these questions – however, the race for truth becomes dangerous and Aisha will regret more than once that she doubts her nature.

• The first season of the TV series premiered on July 27, 2020 on Quibi, the new streaming platform. This service uses a new TV series format with short episodes released on weekdays and which initially could be watched exclusively through mobile app on the go, as example, on the way to work. Since Quibi was released in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, it did not gain the popularity it deserved. Now, managers are looking for new options for Quibi.
• Helena Howard, the lead actress on the television series, is best known for her high-profile debut two years ago in the “Madeline’s Madeline” movie. While this motion picture has successfully passed the world film festivals, the young actress received several nominations for Best Actor. Helena will soon be starring in “The Wilds”, a new television series that tells the story about a group of girls caught up in a social experiment on a distant island.
• Jeffrey Lieber, one of the showrunners of the project, was hired by ABC in the early 2000s to write the script for the pilot episode of the series. Originally called Nowhere, the project changed its title to Lost after JJ Abrams was brought on board.
