Synopsis

Recently, Netflix has shown its love for the European genre of mysticism. After the German “Dark” and the French “Marianne”, the studio is preparing a new TV show – the Italian thriller “Curon”. The film takes place in a quiet small town in the Alps, where every day is similar to the previous one, especially outside the ski season. After a 17-year absence, Anna returns here with her children. The twins Mauro and Daria are not too happy about moving to their mother’s homeland and dream of returning to Milan, where they had a normal life. However, one day Anna disappears, and this case changes everything. The twins will have to join forces and uncover the secrets of this gloomy alpine town.

• The series takes place in the town of Curon, located in the Italian region of South Tyrol where the borders of Italy, Switzerland and Austria cross. Despite the fact that the town is located in Italy, German is the native language of 97% of the Curon population.
• The tower from the series really exists and is a part of the 14th century church complex. It was located in a village that was flooded in the 1950s to create an artificial lake.
