Synopsis
Ronnie, the main character of Cuck, is a mentally troubled young man possessed by weapon and deemed unfit for military service. His life is absolutely unsettled: he lives with possessive mother and does not know how he may release his anger. One day Ronnie actively starts vlogging and releases his aggression in such a way. In the posted videos he points at the fall of “the real America”. Ronnie becomes absolutely insane when his sleazy sexual-nature videos are published on the Internet.
Despite Cuck is a test case of the director Rob Lambert, this film takes up very deep issues, namely connection between sexual frustration and political anger, position of “the angry young man”, and the place of vlogging in the modern society.
