All the action takes place against the backdrop of the scenery of a beautiful rainy New York.

- A Rainy Day in New York is one of the most scandalous films in the filmography of director Woody Allen. Filmed back in 2017, this movie became another victim of the #MeToo movement when the press again spoke about accusations against Woody Allen of sexual harassment. With its premiere delayed by a year and a half, this film only reached theaters on July 26, 2019. However, A Rainy Day in New York was not released in the US.
