Interesting Facts
- All eighteen episodes of the Love, Death & Robots animated anthology were released on March 15, 2019, on the Netflix streaming service.
- In 2008, it became known that David Fincher and a visual effects specialist are making an animated series based on Heavy Metal Magazine material, which publishes adult comics and stories. The original idea for the almanac was to bring in iconic directors such as Guillermo del Toro, Zach Snyder, Gore Verbinski, and James Cameron, some of whom have confirmed their participation. However, such an ambitious project was not lucky — it was not put into production and forgotten. Netflix saved the situation: years later, Fincher and Miller turned to Netflix, and now we can see the Love, Death & Robots animated anthology on our screens!
- Love, Death & Robots has become incredibly popular, and it is no surprise that Netflix has renewed the animation anthology the second season. Jennifer Yu Nelson, author of the Kung Fu Panda animated trilogy, produced the new episodes. However, unfortunately, it is not yet known when to expect new episodes of Love, Death & Robots.
