Synopsis

The topic of vampires and werewolves is very popular in the film industry. It would seem that after dozens of films and TV series in this topic, it will exhaust itself – however, viewers and film critics alike continue to accept warmly the pictures of this genre.

Legacies is a spin-off of spin-off. The “Vampire Diaries”, a multi-part adaptation of the Lisa Jane Smith novel series, is the beginning of this long story. In the “Vampire Diaries”, for eight seasons, two vampire brothers sort things out over a mortal girl. In the wake of the show’s success, the “Originals” TV series was created, which featured some of the characters from the “Vampire Diaries”. The “Originals” was dedicated to the vampire showdown in New Orleans. In addition, from the love affair of a vampire and a werewolf, Hope, the half-blood girl (Danielle Rose Russell) was born. Hope is the protagonist of the new spin-off. The “Legacies” also follows a school for young vampires, werewolves and witches.

Interesting Facts

• Julia Plec, producer of all three of these television series, in addition to the “Legacies”, now is working on the “Roswell, New Mexico” TV show which tells an unusual love story involving aliens.
• The “Legacies” characters also include Alaric Saltzman (Matthew Davis), a former Ancient Vampire from the “Vampire Diaries”. He is now the headmaster of the vampire school.
