Synopsis
The main character of the Homeland series is Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes), a CIA officer.
She is fanatically devoted to her work and ready for any sacrifice for the welfare of her country. Unfortunately, she too often sees that the Motherland is not a government. Carrie also suffers from bipolar disorder, which sometimes jeopardizes her work.
For seven seasons, Carrie found herself in different parts of the world protecting the security of his country.
In the final eighth season, Carrie travels to Afghanistan to accompany her longtime friend Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) in talks with the Taliban; she will also meet with GRU officer Yevgeny Gromov, the man who made her once ended up in a Russian prison.
