Synopsis

Thanks to the series “Boys,” we find ourselves in a kind of parallel reality, where superheroes exist. Here they not only save the universe and lead the way of life of real pop stars, but are also hostages of the corporation “Vought International”. But these same superheroes remain the most ordinary people, mired in passions and desires.

A war of these pseudo-heroes is declared by a group of people without superpowers, calling themselves “Boys.” Yes, they cannot fly or emit deadly rays, but thirst for revenge and a desire for justice burn in their hearts.

Storm, a white nationalist who can control the weather, enters a deadly game in the new season. Also, showrunners promise to pay more attention to the character of Black Noir, who was just episodic in the first season.

Interesting facts

Almost every superhero from the series “Boys” is a satire on one of the characters in the “DC” and «Marvel” universes.
One of the “Boys” producers, comedian Seth Rogen, has just completed two of his previous multi-part projects: the series “The Preacher” and “The Future Man” has been closed. According to rumors, Rogen will appear in “Boys” as an actor too.
The second season of “Boys” has not yet been released, but showrunners are already working on the third. In particular, actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan may appear in it. Remembering his Nigan from The Walking Dead, it becomes clear that fighters and superheroes will have a hard time.
