Synopsis

The series tells the story of what happened in Italy on the shores of the Adriatic Sea. Here is the American base of the military, who took their families to Europe. A young boy Fraser comes here from New York with his mothers. The teenager meets Caitlin, who quickly becomes his friend and makes him part of his group of friends. In these almost heavenly conditions, young people grow up, get to know themselves and try to become who they are.

  • Luca Guadagnino, an Italian filmmaker best known for his high-profile film “Call Me by Your Name” (2018), is the creator of this TV show. “Call Me by Your Name” has received nominations at all major film awards, won an Academy Award for Best Screenplay, provided a powerful boost to Timothy Chalamet’s Hollywood career and made Guadagnino one of the most famous contemporary Italian directors. Based on the novel of the same name, this film will receive a sequel as the literary source was continued in 2019.
  • The TV show is a joint project of the American HBO channel and the Italian Sky Atlantic. While HBO will air the first episode of the television series on September 14, 2020, it will only premiere in Italy on October 9, 2020.
