Synopsis

The Two Weeks to Live TV show tells the story about a girl (Maisie Williams) who wants to avenge her father’s death.

Raised in the wilderness by a tough mother (Sian Clifford), Kim is a true British redneck. In the company of friends with the same outlook on life, she participates in a prank that did not go as it was originally intended. A moment later, Kim finds herself with a bag full of money running away from dangerous gangsters and police officers. Trying to survive, the girl also wants to avenge the death of her father. This story is a brilliant example of British black comedy.

Interesting Facts

  • The Two Weeks to Live is the first series to star in Maisie Williams after Game of Thrones. Simultaneously with this series, the premiere of the “New Mutants” comic strip should take place. The New Mutants where Maisie starring as Wolfsbane was set to premiere in 2018. The Owners, a film with Maisie Williams telling the story of hapless thieves who find themselves in a dangerous situation will premiere a week earlier.
  • Cyan Clifford, British actress, played the role of Kim’s mother. She is also best known for her role as the main character’s sister in The Fleabag acclaimed television series. There is another TV show premiered in April 2020, which included Clifford. The mini-series Quiz tells a very real story about how a married couple came up with a clever scheme to win the “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” TV game and hit the main prize.
  • Jason Fleming, a well-known British actor who is beloved by the public – but rarely gets the main roles – also entered the star cast of the television series. Unfortunately, Fleming is increasingly playing secondary roles of villains.
  • The Two Weeks to Live will premiere on September 2, 2020 on Skye UK service. All six episodes of the first season will be available for viewing on the day of the premiere.
