The 100

Synopsis

This season marks the final chapter in Clark Griffin’s (Eliza Taylor) adventures. After a nuclear disaster, the surviving humans have lived in an orbiting space station for almost 100 years. Realizing that resources are running out, the heads of the settlement decide to send one hundred teenagers to the surface of the planet as punishment for their crimes. The task of the convicts is to find out whether the Earth, the former homeland of the settlers, is again suitable for living.

The main characters have been trying to survive on Earth for six seasons, facing mutants, artificial intelligence and even a new nuclear threat. They had to fight with each other and with the descendants of earthlings. Ultimately, they ended up on another planet.

In the new season – which is the final – Clark, the main character of the TV series, must solve problems of Sanctum, the planet where she and other refugees from Earth ended up.

Interesting Facts

Although The 100 is an adaptation of the Kess Morgan book series, the TV show began filming before the first novel was released.
All episodes of the television series were filmed in Canada near Vancouver.
‘Trigedasleng’ is the language of the surviving descendants developed specifically for the television series by linguist David J. Peterson. He is also known as the creator of the ‘Dothraki’ and ‘Valyrian’ languages for “Game of Thrones” TV show.
